Our Team

Oliver is a CRUK fellow and group leader in Matrix Biology at the Barts Cancer Institute. Through his PhD at the University of Oxford and Postdoc at UCS Oliver pioneered the glycobiology work for our therapeutics approach 

Elly is a senior postdoc in Oliver's group and has co-developed our decellularised tissue model as well as the assays that make up DEVA. She is the co-first author on our platform's first publication (Nature Comms 2023)

Marcos first studied Chemistry at the University of Oxford starting his matrix biology PhD at the Barts Cancer Institute. His project involves targeting specific ECM molecules in collaboration with Neobe Therapeutics

Ludovica is undertaking a PhD at Barts Cancer Institute. She has vast experience in immunology and is currently leading the research work behind our contract research projects

Katie obtained an MSc in Cancer and Molecular Pathology and Genomics before working as a laboratory technician at the Barts Cancer Institute. She is currently working on making our platform market-ready as part of our Queen Mary Impact Fund grant 

Kerry is a Professor of Translational Science at the University of Oxford and co-founder of PsiOxus (now Akamis Bio) and Theolytics

Rod is a consultant with over 20 years of experience working at companies such as BMS, Merck and Sanofi. Rod is helping Matrix Dynamics create partnerships with big pharma companies
